Spectrum Gaming Group's Vice-President for Support Services, Daniel Schiffman, is among New York’s most experienced and studied gaming lawyers. His pioneering work includes representation of Puerto Rico’s regulatory agency during the early ‘70s, when Nevada and Puerto Rico were the only U.S. jurisdictions to license and regulate casino gaming, and development of the litigation techniques for national enforcement of casino-related debts which are universally used today. His early interest in problem behavior helped create much of the present law and practices governing the rights and obligations of operators and patrons. Dan was approved for licensing in several jurisdictions, holds a JD from New York University (Law Review, University Prize Scholarship), served an extended term as Legal Secretary to New York’s Chief Magistrate, is rated av by Martindale-Hubbell, and is listed in Who’s Who in America, Best Lawyers in America, and others.
