Okla. Told to Stop Demanding Sales Taxes from Tribe

An arbitrator ruled Monday that the state of Oklahoma can’t seek to collect taxes from a Native American tribe on sales to non-tribe members at its casinos and other businesses, ordering the state to stop threatening the tribe with enforcement actions for allegedly failing to comply with state tax laws.
