International Masters of Gaming Law and Asian Gaming Brief Announce Collaboration on Asian Gaming Lawyer Magazine

International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) and Asia Gaming Brief (AGB) are proud to announce their partnership on Asian Gaming Lawyer – the latest addition to the IMGL suite of publications.Asian Gaming Lawyer will be joining the Gaming Lawyer family as the fifth periodical in the series, which includes American Gaming Lawyer,Canadian Gaming Lawyer, European Gaming Lawyer, and La Ley Del Juego. 

IMGL President, Joerg Hofmann, said, “One of the main purposes of the IMGL is to be an educational organization, and the exchange and transfer of know-how and knowledge are at the very heart of the endeavors of the IMGL. I am looking forward to this collaboration with Asia Gaming Brief on sharing information on current developments and legal challenges of the gaming industry in Asia and the Pacific region.”

Long-time IMGL member and corporate attorney, Mr Yap Wai Ming, has agreed to be the editor ofAsian Gaming Lawyer. With substantial legal experience in Malaysia, Singapore, and China — and a focus on the gaming and leisure industries — Mr Yap is ideally placed to oversee the theme and content for the new periodical.

The first edition of Asian Gaming Lawyer will be published in May 2015 and distributed at the G2E Asia show. “We are delighted to be able to launch the inaugural edition of Asian Gaming Lawyer at G2E Asia,” said Rosalind Wade, Managing Director of AGB. “The collaboration makes perfect sense given the excellent reputation that IMGL has internationally as the foremost providers of information and networking for gaming lawyers.
