Juan Camilo Carrasco is the Managing Partner of SORA Lawyers and a recognised gaming and corporate law practitioner in Latin America. Since the introduction of Colombia's regulated online gaming framework in 2015, he has advised operators, suppliers, investors and industry stakeholders on regulatory, corporate and commercial matters across the region.
In his role as Managing Partner, Juan leads the firm's Gaming, Corporate and Regulatory practices, advising clients on market entry, licensing, compliance, M&A transactions and strategic business initiatives throughout Latin America.
In addition to his law degree, Juan has undertaken studies in International Business Law at Harvard Law School and the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
A frequent speaker at major industry conferences, Juan actively promotes the development of regulated gaming markets in Latin America and has authored numerous articles for leading industry publications.
