Alcina is a TMT (technologies, media and telecommunications) Senior Associate at CCA LAW FIRM, collaborating with said Firm since 2013. She mainly focuses on online gambling and betting, advertising, consumption, energy and public tenders. Alcina started practicing gaming law in 2015 when the online gambling market became licensed in Portugal. Alcina often writes articles relating to gaming such as the Portuguese chapter for ICLG on Gambling (2023 edition) and the Portuguese section for The Gambling law Review (2021 edition), and frequently attends events relating to gaming law, occasionally as a speaker. Alcina was featured as “Young and Unstoppable” by the Iberian Lawyer Magazine (September 2021) and was recognized in 2021, 2022 and 2023 by the Legal 500 directory as “Rising Star”, and in 2020 distinguished as “Future Leaders” of the technological sector in Portugal by the directory Leaders League. She is a member in good standing of the Portuguese Bar Association.
