Ron Rychlak is Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Mississippi, School of Law, where he has been on the faculty since 1987. His areas of research include Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and Procedure, Gaming Law, and International Terrorism. Ron is the author or co-author of six books, including Gaming Law: Cases and Materials and Real and Demonstrative Evidence: Applications and Theory. He is a member of the Mississippi Advisory Committee to the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, and he serves on the committee appointed by the Mississippi Supreme Court to revise the state’s criminal code. He’s also the university’s Faculty Athletics Representative and chair of the Athletics Committee, and he serves on the editorial board of The Gaming Law Review. Since 2000 Ron has served as an advisor to the Holy See’s delegation to the United Nations and as a delegate at numerous U.N. meetings, with a special emphasis on the International Criminal Court.
