Dr. Wulf Hambach is one of the founding partners of Hambach & Hambach.


During his apprenticeship to the Bar and in his doctorate which he completed while at the Max-Planck-Institute for foreign and international private law, he had already begun to specialise on Media Law and Gaming Law.


He regularly publishes articles in national and international legal media. Furthermore, he is a co-publisher and one of the authors of the legal commentary “Glücks- und Gewinnspielrecht in den Medien” (Gambling and Sweepstakes Law in the Media, C.H. Beck Verlag). Dr. Hambach is a sought-after lecturer at leading international conferences and board adviser of leading internet service companies.


In the “Chambers and Partners“ international ranking, Dr. Hambach is listed as a leading expert in “Gaming Law” for 2008 - 2016. In 2012, he received an award from “Chambers Global – The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business”, as the leading expert in his area. Dr. Wulf Hambach is ranked as “Most Highly Regarded Individual in the Gaming & Gambling section” in THE INTERNATIONAL WHO’s WHO of SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT LAWYERS 2013 and 2016. He was now identified as "true leader on gaming and betting matters in the German market" for 2014 as one of a select group of Leading Lawyers who stand out for their expertise on a global level.


Dr. Hambach is one of the founders of the European portal Gaminglaw.eu (www.gaminglaw.eu), as well as being a member of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) and General Member of the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL). He is also a member of the advisory committee of the Forschungsinstitut für Glücksspiel und Wetten (Research institute for Gambling and Betting) at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University as well as board member of the Deutscher Verband für Telekommunikation und Medien e.V. (DVTM - German Association for Telecommunication and Media).


Wulf advises leading charity organisations on gaming-related projects.
