Sue McNabb has worked with the state legislature and served as Assistant Attorney General for the Louisiana Department of Justice and as an attorney for the Louisiana Legislative Auditor. She has an extensive background in corporate law in the private sector where she worked as General Counsel of an INC 500 Company and as Vice President of Administration with a national not-for-profit corporation. Prior to that, she taught at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Presently, she works as a consultant. ue worked with the office of the Attorney General and the gaming industry on developing the “Problem and Compulsive Gaming Programs” for the various gaming properties in Louisiana. She developed a Pre-trial Diversion/Probation and Parole Program to place first and second nonviolent offenders whose crime is related to a gambling addiction in treatment to stop the cycle of addiction related crime. She also worked with the Attorney General’s gaming licensing and licensee compliance in Louisiana. Sue has written numerous articles on responsible gaming and risk management which appeared in Global Gaming Business and Casino Lawyer among others. Sue’s extensive presentations include the American Bar Association, International Masters of Gaming Law, North American Gaming Regulators Association, Southern Gaming Summit, Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling, G2E and the National Council on Problem Gambling. She was inducted into the prestigious International Masters of Gaming Law in 2006. She served as vice chair of the Governmental Section of the American Bar Association and served on the board of directors of the Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling and was formerly a member of the board of the National Council on Problem Gambling. She also serves on the board of the Louisiana Center for Women in Government and Business and was appointed by Governor Bobby Jindal to serve on the Louisiana Women’s Policy and Research Commission. Sue is editor of American Gaming Lawyer, formerly Casino Lawyer, an international publication of IMGL. Sue has served as Executive Director of IMGL since May of 2015.
