Born in Vienna Dr. Monika Poeckh-Racek studied law at the University of Vienna and started a legal career after her PhD. After two years as legal assistant at the higher administrative court she worked as senior consultant in the fields of European law and international corporations at one of the leading Austrian strategic consulting agencies. Since 2007 she is head of the department Corporate Social Responsibility and is responsible for the implementation of CSR and Responsible Gaming measures. She is the only person employed by a gaming technology supplier in Europe to have this job title and dedicates full time to Novomatic´s responsible gaming efforts. In addition she is press officer in the field of Responsible Gaming and player protection. In May 2011 she has been appointed member of the board of directors of the newly founded Admiral Casinos & Entertainment AG and is responsible for player protection, human resources and marketing. Dr. Monika Racek is member at the young federation of Austrian Industries, Vienna Economic Forum, association “economy and integration” and at International Masters of Gaming Law.
