Garron graduated from the University of Cape Town with BA, LLB and LLM (Commercial Law) degrees and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1996. He has practised law both in London, UK (Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft and Theodore Goddard) and South Africa as an associate and/ or partner and is currently based in Cape Town, South Africa practising as Whitesmans Attorneys, which he founded in 2006. Garron is an experienced commercial and gaming lawyer and one of two general South African members of the International Masters of Gaming Law. He has been top- ranked for gaming and gambling in Chambers Global since 2008. Garron has been inducted into the African Gaming Hall of Fame.
