Ana-Maria Baciu is a regulatory and intellectual property lawyer, assisting clients in various industries, including gambling, IT, e-commerce or pharmaceuticals, for more than 20 years.

In the gaming field, Ana-Maria has been guiding betting & gaming companies, solution providers for the gaming industry, marketing affiliates, other companies with interest in this sector, as well as industry relevant associations, on the full range of regulatory and operational gaming aspects, including by providing assistance and representation before the Romanian regulator.

Previous to setting up Simion & Baciu, Ana-Maria has been heading the intellectual property practice, as well as co-heading the gaming, consumer and advertising practices at the largest and oldest consultancy firm in Romania for more than 8 years.

Ana-Maria is also a licensed European trademark and design attorney and a member of the Romanian National Chamber of Intellectual Property Attorneys, as well as a regular contributor to industry dedicated publications and speaker to various gambling or intellectual property international events.
